All Auslogics program licenses can be used on up to 3 computers within one household, unless noted otherwise on the program’s webpage or at the time of purchase. It means, for example, that you can use one Auslogics BoostSpeed license on up to 3 computers, if they belong to you. However, you cannot give the license to someone else. If the program is to be used by several people, you can purchase two or more licenses at a discounted price (contact us for details).

Auslogics programs are distributed on an annual subscription basis. When you purchase a 1-year license, you subscribe to a year of updates to the purchased software product. At the end of the year your license is renewed automatically, if such option is enabled on your account, or an expiration notice is sent to you via email so you can renew your license manually.

Your 1-year license for the product you purchased entitles you to a full year of free product updates. Updates include feature improvements, bug fixes and algorithm updates. Updates do not include switching to a new major version, such as from version 6 to version 7, which requires a paid license upgrade. An upgrade is similar to going from Windows 7 to Windows 8 – a customer may choose to keep the older version or pay for the upgrade, and both versions are supported. New major versions usually have a lot of work put into them and include significant functionality and usability improvements. Paying for an upgrade to the new version lets you also keep your license key for the older version and in fact makes the older license key permanent. You can always go back to the older program version or keep using it on one of your computers.

Each license you purchase for an Auslogics product can be used on up to 3 computers belonging to the same user, or on which the same person is the main user. This means that if your PC technically is owned by a family member, a friend or your employer, but you are the main user on it, your Auslogics product license can still cover this computer, as long as it is within the 3-PC limit.
